Fits Philips Sonicare* brush. This beautiful bamboo head has medium 100% castor oil bristles, which give the same deep clean feeling, and of course it comes in biodegradable packaging.

The Material

Bamboo is the perfect material for the Truthbrush as it is beautiful to look at, warm to touch and fully biodegradable. The natural antibacterial and antifungal properties of bamboo mean the Truthbrush is hygienic too. Bamboo is resistant to natural pests, which means it is farmed organically.

Care

We recommend, based on advice from dentists, that you replace your toothbrush head every 3 months (although we know the Truthbrush lasts much longer). After use, keep dry. To dispose of your bamboo toothbrush, please place in your ordinary bin. Over time, all but the bristles will biodegrade, leaving no residue.

Packaging

To us: Delivered in boxes of ten, in 100% recyclable cardboard boxes.

To you: Each pair of toothbrush heads are wrapped in 100% recyclable tissue paper, and a 100% recyclable cardboard tube.

Product Origin / Manufacture

The Truthbrush is designed in the UK, and responsibly made in China, the natural habitat of bamboo. They're made from ‘Moso’ bamboo, which grows up to a metre a day there as it has the perfect conditions to thrive. The bamboo used to make The Truthbrush comes from an FSC managed sustainable forest.

The Truthbrush came from a wish for a toothbrush that was beautiful and luxurious as well as biodegradable. Combining their expertise as a hospital surgeon and a fashion buyer, Catherine and Catherine, founders of The Truthbrush, designed the Truthbrush to look beautiful in your home as well as being a great toothbrush. Every year over a billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away worldwide, ending up in landfill, in the sea or washed up on a beach. Using a bamboo toothbrush with a biodegradable handle is a small change, but together we can make a big difference.
